Richard Craven from Florida, great show n thx for your service one and all.
Is asking an officer to wait for his supervisor to arrive on scene, before reaching for anything a good idea?
always communicate to the officer what you intend to do Before you do it. Tell them ur are carrying. if they want the fire arm for ‘officer saftey’, do not touch the fire arm. allow them the remove it. move slowly. speak clearly and calmly. . . i do have an issue with surrendering a weapon to anyone including an officer, however, every event is situational.
‘what do you have to loose?’ right and freedoms. I have family and friends who are peace officers and i worked in security and the legal field for a number of years. I am certainly pro police. But I am pro-citizen and pro citizen rights even more so. Just remember, each event is situational. Dont get shot for failure to surrender your weapon when asked to.
